The side event will provide an introduction of how traditional and modernized forms of building architecture, as well as nature-based solutions and district cooling, can provide affordable, efficient,
climate friendly cooling for cities. A panel discussion will ensue among partners of the Cool Coalition, as well as city representatives, to share experiences and their key cooling challenges. This will be
followed by a 10-minute-long Q&A and then the closing. The session will also be the opportunity to showcase progress from the Cool Coalition.
