Objectives
- Accelerate the adoption of passive cooling strategies to reduce emissions, improve thermal comfort, and ensure climate resilience in buildings.
- Support policymakers and stakeholders in developing enabling frameworks, guidelines, and toolkits for integration into building policies.
- Promote global collaboration, knowledge-exchange, and capacity-building to scale passive cooling, especially in heat-stressed and low-income regions.
- Advance commitments under the Global Cooling Pledge through advocacy, awareness, and technical support.
Outputs
- Passive Cooling Knowledge Platform to share experiences, data, and case studies.
- Model Guidelines to support integration of passive cooling into national and regional policies.
- Capacity-building programmes including trainings, webinars, and workshops for key stakeholders.
- Dissemination and outreach through global events and platforms.
