  • Raise awareness of extreme heat as a critical climate and equity issue.
  • Build capacity to implement scalable and affordable solutions at multiple levels.
  • Support integration into global and local climate policy frameworks.

  • Urban Heat & Cooling Action Plan Methodology: standard global approach for mapping vulnerability and developing action plans.
  • Urban Transitions Mission support in alignment with national and city climate strategies.
  • Subnational Global Cooling Pledge implementation.
  • Extreme Heat & Critical Facilities Impact Assessment with focus on schools and health centres.
  • Integration of passive cooling and nature-based solutions into urban design.
