Background
2026 will be a critical year for moving sustainable cooling and buildings from implementation to scale.
The Cool Coalition and the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction are hosting a webinar to mobilise partners around the 2026 cooling and buildings agenda, including key moments such as the Global Cooling Pledge Assembly and the COP31 Buildings and Cooling Pavilion.
The first Global Cooling Pledge Assembly will take place from 14 to 17 September 2026 in Singapore. It will bring together Global Cooling Pledge government focal points, cities, industry leaders, development finance institutions, technical partners and other non-state actors to accelerate delivery on sustainable cooling.
The COP31 edition of the Buildings and Cooling Pavilion will take place in Antalya, Türkiye, and will provide a dedicated space within the 2026 UN Climate Change Conference process to advance buildings and cooling as central pillars of climate action.
The webinar will introduce the overall 2026 partnership offer, outline the opportunities available to partners, and explain how interested organisations can engage through sponsorship, technical contribution, thematic leadership, visibility and participation across the year’s key moments.
