EPIC Solutions is UNEP Cool Coalition's Technical Assistance Facility that supports Global Cooling Pledge signatories in advancing their commitments. Following the outcomes of COP30 Ministerial Dialogue Delivering on the Global Cooling Pledge and the Belém Communiqué on Extreme Heat, EPIC has been operationalized as an implementation mechanism to provide early-stage technical assistance to signatories.
This event is designed to help Global Cooling Pledge signatory focal points better understand how EPIC Solutions can be used to respond to country priorities and strengthen national cooling policies and plans. By focusing on how high-level commitments can be translated into clear and well-defined requests, the session aims to support more effective use of targeted technical assistance. Practical guidance will be shared on shaping requests that address policy, capacity, and implementation needs, while remaining aligned with national instruments such as NCAPs and NDCs. The discussion will also highlight how EPIC Solutions can help connect technical support with broader pathways for implementation and finance, where relevant. This webinar aims to improve country readiness, and enable focal points to engage more confidently and strategically with EPIC Solutions to advance sustainable cooling action.
