The Cool Coalition Brand Hub provides official brand guidelines and approved visual assets for the Cool Coalition and its programmes and initiatives. Please follow the relevant guidelines when using any of the assets available on this page.

Important: use of brand assets

Cool Coalition brand assets are the intellectual property of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Use of these assets is subject to the applicable brand guidelines and permissions. Downloading an asset does not automatically grant permission to use it. Do not alter, redraw, recolour, distort or otherwise modify the supplied logos or badges. If you are unsure whether you are authorised to use an asset, please contact the Cool Coalition team.

Brand Guidelines

The Cool Coalition Visual Identity Guidelines set out the Coalition's visual identity, including logo use, colour palette, typography, imagery, applications and co-branding with UNEP and partners.

Logo

The Cool Coalition logo is the primary identifier of the Coalition. Always use the approved artwork and follow the Visual Identity Guidelines for placement, clear space, backgrounds and co-branding.

For official Cool Coalition communications and authorised use by partners. Third-party use requires prior approval.

Badges

Cool Coalition badges communicate a specific status or affiliation. They may only be used by organisations or governments that meet the eligibility requirements for the relevant badge. A badge should not be used as a substitute for the Cool Coalition logo or the user's own organisational identity.

Cool Coalition member badge

Current members of the Cool Coalition may use the badge to communicate their membership in the Coalition.

Use only the approved artwork. Do not alter or recreate the badge. When displaying the badge alongside your organisation's logo, follow the placement, spacing, background and sizing requirements in the Member Badge Guidelines.

Global Cooling Pledge signatory badge

Governments that are official signatories to the Global Cooling Pledge may use the badge to communicate their signatory status.

Use only the approved artwork and follow the Global Cooling Pledge Signatory Badge Guidelines. Do not alter, recreate or use the badge in a way that could imply signatory status where this does not apply. The dedicated guidelines define this specifically as the Global Cooling Pledge Signatory Badge.
